It is with regret that Exmouth Archers have decided to cancel the tournament that they were planning to run on the weekend of their normal World Archery Weekend.
On Wednesday evening Exmouth Archers had made a final decision on what was going to happen and had started the necessary paperwork to move it forward so that they could start to contact the Archers that had registered interest.
The Friday 31st July Government directives and news of tighter restrictions in the north of the country, which potentially could happen anywhere at any time brought Exmouth Archers to the conclusion that with 2 weeks to go, they had to cancel the shoot.
At this time, they still intend to run the Field Shoot in October because Exmouth Archers can make it work under current guidelines and restrictions and Exmouth Archers continue to work towards preparing the course for that. Hopefully archers will consider shooting then? Archers can register their interest via the web form on Exmouth Archers’ website, but they do ask to please not pay at this stage.
